"I met Mr. Williams in the beginning of my junior year of high school. He has always been an enlightening and informing role model. He keeps things honest and truthful, as well as giving me the best advice. I have learned a lot of skills through Mr. Williams such as: code-switching, always being prepared, making a good first impression, creating an elevator pitch, and professionalism skills overall. These skills have helped me in many college and scholarship interviews, and just knowing how to conduct myself. I have been able to apply the skills he taught me and they have helped me get into my top choice college, Spelman College. On a more personal level, whenever I have doubts, I have no doubt that as a mentor, Mr. Williams will continue to help me through and after college.
