Accepted Chess Program

Accepted Chess Program  will introduce students to the game of chess, build skills, teach strategy and culminate in a tournament during the final class of the session. Students will learn about the history of the game as well as develop patience, logical thinking and problem solving skills. No experience necessary. 

The Accepted Chess Club was created to provide children the chance to study the game, hone their chess abilities, and enjoy playing against their friends while engaging in healthy competition and teamwork. Chess is used to improve decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking. While the students will have the opportunity to monitor their development and participate in chess competitions, our primary goals are to promote learning, good sportsmanship, and enjoyment.
